Binance App: Crypto Trading Made Easy
Trading crypto is easy with the Binance trading app. This article takes a look at the important features of this app. At the end you’ll find an app install link and more. Binance has rewritten the book on how cryptocurrency exchange apps should work.
Opening the app presents a list of tokens:
The top of the screen has tabs for the base $BNB, $BTC, $ETH and $USDT currencies:
The token list may be sorted in ascending or descending order by tapping any of Pair, Vol, Last Price or 24h Chg%. The results are instant and effortless.
Robust Serving Environment
Binance prides itself on having a robust serving environment – saying on their website: “Our certified matching engine is capable of processing 1,400,000 orders per second, making Binance one of the fastest exchange in the market today.” In fact on January 04 2018 Binance processed well over 2.2 billion USD in $TRX alone. There was no sign of delay and all choices resulted in “Success”. This is what traders need and expect.
The Bittrex website displays considerable and unnecessary text with each buy or sell order. Binance’s “success” message is a simple, clear and refreshing change.
Markets, Trades, Funds and Account
The bottom of the screen has four areas: Markets, Trades, Funds and Account:
The markets tab launches a token list. Selecting a token brings up the chart interface:
This app has fine grained control to one minute intervals:
Tap “Full” to get a full screen chart on your phone.
Buying crypto has never been easier. Allocate 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of assets by tapping once. Works the same for Sell:
The entire app is easy to navigate. Trades are no exception. Bid/Ask Order Book and executed Market Trades are close at hand:
A subtle color coding shows the weight in volume of each order:
Using the app for several hours of trading during heavy volume trading (168,049 BTC) resulted in just one glitch. The issue was that after selling an asset the indicated assets available – “Avbl” – did not always reflect the current state. The solution which worked was to go to the Funds page, where you will see the correct balances. Let the Funds page load fully. Then return to the Sell screen. The data is then correct – resume trading.
Funds and Account
The remaining sections of Funds and Account contain typical features.
The author funded a Binance account with BTC. The exchange to exchange transfer took forty-six (46) minutes. The process was straightforward and error free – no human was involved on either end – and the funds landed into the Binance BTC account ready to trade.
