Blockchain and Smartwatches Intersect with Datum and SWINGS

Datum, an upcoming data marketplace for all types of data, has announce the launch of a second ‘Datum Enabled’ device in the form of the SWINGS hybrid smartwatch. SWINGS designed and manufactured its upcoming line of smartwatches with a battery that lasts up to two years.

Roger Haenni, co-founder and CEO of Datum, remarked: “When we launched Datum, we faced unprecedented interest, ranging from start-ups and large scale enterprises. In order to support our ecosystem, we launched ‘Datum Enabled’ program. We are enthusiastic to see a disruptive smartwatch maker opting to integrate Datum API in their complete line-up, enabling users to securely encrypt their data and then given them freedom to decide they want to do with collected data.”
