Cryptocurrencies Now Accepted by Camuso CPA

Camuso CPA, a Charlotte based CPA firm and cryptocurrency tax advisory, has made the decision to begin accepting Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies as form of payments for services. The company claims to be the first CPA firm in the country to accept cryptocurrency payments in return for professional services. The company has a wide variety of investors that are heavily focused on non-correlated assets, many of which already hold cryptocurrencies, and many others becoming increasingly interested in the space.

In the past year, Deloitte Canada installed a Bitcoin ATM in its offices and has also announced that it is now accepting bitcoin at Bistro 1858, the Toronto office’s internal restaurant. Since the installation of the Bitcoin ATM in the fall of 2016, Deloitte’s Toronto office has reported tremendous adoption and understanding of the cryptocurrency, and its underlying technology blockchain.

Patrick Camuso, owner of Camuso CPA, stated: “We have a wide variety of investors that are heavily focused on non-correlated assets, many of which already hold cryptocurrencies, and many others becoming increasingly intrigued by this space. With the total value at nearly $120 billion, it’s getting harder for institutional investors to ignore cryptocurrencies. Goldman Sachs team notes that initial coin offering investments have exceeded angel and seed funding during the past few months. Our clients are fluid in this space, accepting forms of payment in cryptocurrency was a natural progression. We’re excited to be a leading company in this space and exploring the possibilities with cryptocurrency payments. We hope this use case will show a wider audience of investors and small business owners what cryptocurrencies can do for online payments and for businesses transferring value globally.”

This move represents a step forward in Camuso CPA becoming more involved in the blockchain space. Working across financial services, real estate, and small businesses, Camuso CPA aims to provide top level service to a wide range of clients nationwide.
