Kryptokit recently gave users an insight to its forthcoming DAO integration for Jaxx with a preview of its integration layout. The project is aimed to be completed and pushed out across all 9 platforms and devices in the Jaxx 1.0 release which is meant to be out today. The company has not previously used custom tokens on Ethereum but decided to due to user requests. Users will also be able to use their wallet to hold their bitcoin and ether when Jaxx 1.0 is released.
The goal of this integration is to offer a robust set of tools for voting and transferring tokens that don’t compromise simplicity and ease of use. As Jaxx projects are design and user experience led, Jaxx is requesting feedback on the work.
Features of the DAO integration include an initial DAO screen where users view token balance and transferring tokens between accounts, a proposals screen which displays current DAO proposals and voting history, and a screen to select a proposal, read its description, as well as view the current For/Against breakdown for members who have voted so far. A slider will let users select their vote and the level of token commitment they are making.
Jaxx also notified users of the unintended result of a cache reset feature that was installed as a way to help users fix minor syncing issues, which caused resetting users Security PIN. Jaxx have asked users that don’t use auto-update version (eg the Desktop versions) to update to 0.0.23 via the Jaxx site.
