Mining solutions platform BW has revealed that it has created the BW-LK1401, the first generation 14nm ASIC mining chip to be released, after almost a year of research and development with Samsung. This new chip offers a lower power consumption than other chips, requiring 160W/T.
BW is currently producing an ASIC chip with even lower power consumption, with the BW-LK1402 chip working at 95 W/T, offering increased hash power and stability alongside the improved efficiency. The release date for these new chips is currently set for April 2016.
Besides mining equipment, BW also offer a mining pool for BTC, LTC and DOGE, a wallet that provides interest, and hash investments on an open and transparent platform.
