Global payments provider Align Commerce, who utilized blockchain technology to provide services to the small and medium-sized business community, has announced the establishment of its China corridor to allow businesses to send and receive payments easily to and from Asia’s largest economy.
The value of bilateral trade between the U.S. and China has been stated as surpassing $555 billion in recent years; businesses in both countries will be able to enjoy the benefits of Align Commerce’s revolutionary multi-rail technology, which combines the blockchain with traditional payments, simple invoicing and real-time payments tracking.
To celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year and to mark the opening of its payments corridor, Align Commerce has declared that it is implementing a flat fee of $8 USD, including foreign exchange fees, for all export-import payments to China from the United States (U.S.) for eight days. The promotion will run from Monday, Feb. 8 through Monday, Feb. 15. Small business owners in the U.S. and China whose wish to access the promotional offer can do so from the Align Commerce website.
Marwan Forzley, CEO and co-founder of Align Commerce, explained: “Align Commerce is excited to honor Chinese culture and tradition as we celebrate the Year of the Monkey. The number eight is traditionally a lucky number in Chinese culture, and we’re hoping to spread the luck around and help small business owners save some money with our ‘$8 for Eight Days’ promotion.”
