Storj uses blockchain technology and peer-to-peer protocols to provide encrypted cloud storage. Through the DriveShare app, Storj also enables users to share unused drive space on their computers in return for payment in its proprietary cryptocurrency, Storjcoin X (SJCX).

SJCX currently has a market capitalization of $719,111 and can be exchanged for bitcoin on the following exchanges: Poloniex, Bittrex, Counterparty DEX, and ShapeShift.

With the new DriveShare interface, users can enter a SJCX payout address, select where to keep their data, and select how much drive storage they want to share.
