Bitcoin marketplace consultants CoinStructive and hardware partner CoinOutlet have installed the first 2-Way Bitcoin ATM machine in California’s San Diego County. The ATM launch is the first step in a strategic partnership between the two companies.
The 2-Way CoinStructive Bitcoin ATM will be available to customers from 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday and 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM on weekends at 274 N El Camino Real, Encinitas, CA within Surf Bros. Teriyaki restaurant.
Based in San Diego, CoinStructive specializes in the education, management, deployment, and adoption of Bitcoin and other blockchain technologies for retailers and other businesses. Headquartered in Lititz, Pennsylvania, CoinOutlet is the manufacturer of next-generation, 2-Way Bitcoin ATMs.
Surf Bros. Teriyaki owner Reza Karkouti said:
Bitcoin might seem intimidating, but this two-way bitcoin ATM makes it a breeze to get started. The CoinStructive machine is as easy to use as a regular ATM, and you don’t even need a software wallet – users have the option to print out a simple paper wallet with instructions and private and public keys to their bitcoin.
CoinOutlet CEO Eric Grill added
This opportunity to collaborate with a team of people dedicated to educating businesses about how bitcoin can be an advantage is our dream. This is how you build a bitcoin ecosystem that benefits millions of people. We are looking forward to rolling out CoinStructive machines across California, and helping bring new merchants onboard with bitcoin in general.
CoinStructive CEO Chris Groshong noted:
Bitcoin is no longer an emerging technology. Early adopters have proven Bitcoin to be a secure, easy way to transfer funds anywhere, without reliance upon banks. Indeed, CoinStructive has helped transfer moneys into previously impenetrable markets like Cuba. We’re very excited to deliver this ATM to the Bitcoin user base in tech-friendly San Diego County, and even more excited to introduce our forthcoming brick-and-mortar partners to the Bitcoin community.
