Canadian blockchain-technology developer BTL Group Ltd. has announced that it has established an Advisory Board, with Nicholas Stalder appointed as the initial member. BTL Group hopes this will aid it in becoming a world leader in blockchain technology.
BTL group additionally announced the grant of options to acquire 1,050,000 common shares of BTL Group at an exercise price of $0.50 per share, half of which will be vested on 14th December 2016 with the second half vesting on 14th December 2017. These options have a 5 year duration and were offered in various amounts to directors, officers, employees and a consultant.
Speaking on the appointment of Nicholas Stalder, Guy Halford-Thompson, CEO of BTL, said: “We welcome Nick Stalder as the initial member of the newly established Advisory Board. Nick has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, which experience will be valuable to the Corporation as it develops its blockchain and Interbit product solutions”.
