Australian Bitcoin Marketplace and Auction Site Cryptothrift Re-brands to Bitify

CryptoThrift, an Australian-based bitcoin and litecoin marketplace and auction site for new and used items, has been re-branded to ‘Bitify’ in an effort by the founders to reach a wider audience. Intending to act as a portal for individuals and small businesses to sell and buy new or used items, the old website will automatically redirect users to the new one at

Over the last two years, the platform has enjoyed continuous growth, with a 200% increase in the last year. As well as 50,000 users and thousands of items for sale, Bitify also hosts a healthy escrow service, which has processed over USD$2.5 million. A wide range of goods can be found on the website, from computer hardware and software to cars, real estare and precious metals. Charity auctions have also been hosted, including the ten trillion Zimbabwean dollar bill, signed by Andreas Antonopoulos.

With no current external help or investment, the founders are now seeking financial investment to fund the development of new features, including customizable store fronts designed to target power sellers and small businesses.
