Bitcoin Metals Debuts FinTech Jewelry, Pledges BitGive Donations

bitcoinmetalsOnline jewelry vendor Bitcoin Metals & Co. officially launched their website

The online retailer says that it hopes to raise awareness of digital currencies like bitcoin and their underlying technology, while giving a percentage of sales back to the community.

The online store features a range of bitcoin jewelry for both men and women, made with precious metals and manufactured into “FinTech Art” that can only be purchased with bitcoins.

Store owner Brigham Coombs notes, “It’s the perfect marriage, as the designs and the metals complement each other so elegantly. Precious metals have been stalwarts in preserving wealth for eons, and now digital currencies offer a modern alternative.”

The company has pledged to illuminate the social impact of bitcoin and blockchain technology by donating 5% of its sales to the BitGive Foundation. “We are honored to have this partnership with Bitcoin Metals & Co., and appreciate their commitment to social causes from the very start of their business endeavor,” says Connie Gallippi, Founder and Executive Director of the BitGive Foundation. “It is through broad community support and dedication to positive social impact as an industry that we will demonstrate how Bitcoin can truly change the world.”

The BitGive Foundation is the first 501(c)(3) Bitcoin nonprofit charitable foundation representing the Bitcoin community and helping such charity partners as Save The Children, The Water Project, Medic Mobile, and more.
