Bitcoin Shop has formally completed its name change to BTCS, which is also its OTCQB Venture Marketplace ticker symbol.
The name change should be reflected in the coming weeks once it is processed by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

The company also unveiled its new corporate website (www.btcs.com) on Tuesday. The new site includes additional information blockchain technology and its disruptive application across a diverse array of industries.
A merger between BTCS and mining firm Spondoolies-Tech is pending. Spondoolies designs and builds world class ASIC mining servers which secure the blockchain and has announced 2014 un-audited revenue of $28 million. BTCS also has a bitcoin e-commerce site, the Bitcoin Shop, in beta but many of its products do not appear to be available.
